    Has the BabbaBox Changed?  What happened to Create/Explore/Storytell/Connect?

    Yes!  In April 2013 we launched a whole new line of BabbaBoxes.  What you know as the “BabbaBox” aligns best with our new Premium offering.  In addition we have a Digital and new BabbaBox as membership options.  Digital memberships start at $6.99 / month, BabbaBox for $12.99 + shipping, and Premium for $26.99 + shipping.

    In addition to introducing more membership options, we also revamped the way we design our products.  You will still spend plenty of time creating, exploring, telling stories and connecting with your children, but now each BabbaBox is so much more than just crafts! In any given month you could receive books, games, puzzles, hands-on activities, science projects, sensory fun, imaginative play and more - a different mix every month to keep things interesting.

    I am an existing member, what happens to my membership now that the BabbaBox has changed?

    Good news!  You have been upgraded to our Premium membership at no additional cost to you.  You will receive our Premium membership - a $39.99/month value - at whatever your current monthly rate is for as long as you maintain your membership.  Just a little way we wanted to say a big “THANK YOU” for being one of our earliest customers.

    Don't worry, you will be getting the same things that you know and love from the BabbaBox; plenty of creating, exploring, telling stories and connecting with your children, but now each BabbaBox is so much more than just crafts! In any given month you could receive books, games, puzzles, hands-on activities, science projects, sensory fun, imaginative play and more - a different mix every month to keep things interesting. 

     

    As a Premium member, you will still receive materials for 2-3 activities, ideas for 2 more activities, a book, and an App; all which encompass a fun theme, to help foster critical thinking and imagination.

    I paid for an annual membership before you launched the new products. Will I be billed any additional charges?

    Absolutely not!  In fact, you have been upgraded to our Premium membership absolutely free! The Premium Annual membership costs $359.88 so represents nearly $120 in savings for you!  We sincerely appreciate your early loyalty, and we hope that you stay with us for many months to come.  We hope you enjoy this little bonus for being with us from the beginning!  Thank you!!

    As a Premium member, you will still receive materials for 2-3 activities, ideas for 2 more activities, a book, and an App; all which encompass a fun theme, to help foster critical thinking and imagination. In any given month you could receive books, games, puzzles, hands-on activities, science projects, sensory fun, imaginative play and more - a different mix every month to keep things interesting.  You will also notice that we have stepped up the quality of materials.

    What we now call the "BabbaBox" (for $15.99 + Shipping) is a slimmed down version of the original BabbaBox, including materials for 2 activities per month. In addition to introducing more membership options, we also revamped the way we design our products. 

    If, at the time your annual membership is due to end, you would like to renew an additional year we will honor the rate you paid when you signed up.  If you prefer to roll into a monthly plan, your charge will be $29.99 which is consistent with the terms of our original Annual BabbaBox plan.

    I was a monthly customer, will my monthly charge change?

    Nope! You have been upgraded for free to our Premium monthly membership - this is actually a monthly savings of $10.00 as the Premium membership sells for $39.99 / month.  We sincerely appreciate your early loyalty, and we hope that you stay with us for many months to come.  We hope you enjoy this little bonus for being with us from the beginning!  Thank you!!

    Membership Information

    What are the types of BabbaBox memberships and pricing options available? 

    We have three different types of memberships - Digital, the BabbaBox and BabbaBox Premium.  Price varies based on the type of plan you purchase, with a discount being offered to annual memberships which are paid in full at the time of purchase.

    What age range is the BabbaBox appropriate for? 

    We suggest 3 – 6 year olds. Kids on the younger end of the range will require more supervision from parents, while older kids should be able to do most of the activities with only limited guidance.  Our early childhood experts make sure that everything included is always developmentally appropriate, and helps to promote critical thinking, creativity and build problem solving skills.

    Can my child do all the projects in the BabbaBox by himself/herself? 

    The BabbaBox is meant to be enjoyed together with your kids. While we work with educators and experts to curate age appropriate activities for your kids, some activities may require some assistance or supervision from an adult. We try to include a variety of activities each month, some that can be done more independently and some that are designed for you to do closely with your kids.  Click here to learn more about the BabbaBox!

    I have more than one child.  Do I need to order more than one box?

    Not necessarily!  If you want to purchase a Premium membership, we offer Bonus Packs for just $9.99 / month which is a perfect solution for siblings.  The Bonus Pack includes all of the physical materials for the two primary hands on activities each month, so that each of your kids will have their own creations.  

    If you want to purchase a BabbaBox membership, we do not offer Bonus Packs, but we do offer a discount on a second BabbaBox if you would like to receive one for each of your kids each month.  Just give us a call at 773-930-4760 during business hours to order by phone (10am - 4pm EST M-F).

    What is the cancellation policy for the BabbaBox membership(s)? 

    Monthly BabbaBox Memberships: Canceling your monthly membership is simple! Just give one of our Customer Care team members a call at 773-930-4760 (Monday through Friday between 10 am – 4 pm ET) and we will help you out! After you’ve spoken to one of our Customer Care team members, you will receive a confirmation email of your cancellation. If you aren’t able to get in touch with us, just leave a message and you can expect a call back within 2 business days or less! Just remember that for monthly memberships, we will charge your credit card on the first of each month for that month’s shipment of your BabbaBox, so be sure to call us or email us before the end of the month to cancel your next month's BabbaBox shipment.

    Annual BabbaBox Memberships: Due to the discounts provided at the time of an annual membership purchase, you cannot cancel your annual membership once purchased. However, you may cancel before the end of the first year to prevent automatically renewing as a monthly membership.

    Order and Shipping Information

    When is my credit card charged? 

    For a monthly membership, your credit card is charged for the first BabbaBox at the time you join and then on the 1st of each month after the month you receive your first BabbaBox.

    For an annual membership, your credit card is charged in full at the time of your purchase for the first year. A recurring monthly charge for your membership amount will be applied to your credit card when your annual membership is automatically renewed after the first year.

    For gift purchases of the BabbaBox, your credit card is charged upfront at the time of your gift purchase (for the total amount of your gift option purchased).

    How do I know when my BabbaBox is shipped/will arrive? 

    Your first BabbaBox will ship on the 15th, and typically takes 5-10 days to be delivered.

    If you placed your order before the 10th day of the month, your first box will arrive in the same month as your order.  If you placed it after the 11th, then you will receive your box the next month.  

    For example, if you placed an order between March 11th - April 10th, your first product would ship on April 15th and arrive between April 20th and 25th.  If you placed the order on April 11th, however, your first BabbaBox would not ship until May 15th and arrive between May 20th and 25th.

    Can I place an order by phone?

    How do I check the status of my BabbaCo order? 

    You will receive an email confirming the shipment of your order with a tracking number that you can use to track the status of your order. To ensure delivery of our emails to your inbox, please add info@babbaco.com and support@babbaco.com to your address book. You can also log in to your account online, email us at customerservice@babbaco.com or call us at 773-930-4760 for more information.

    Can I return the BabbaBox? 

    BabbaBox shipments are not returnable. However, if any boxes or materials included in your box shipments are damaged or defective, email at customerservice@babbaco.com or call us at 773-930-4760 and we will get you replacement materials in a flash!

    Where do you ship and what are the shipping costs? 

    That depends on the type of membership you have.  You can explore our different types of memberships here.  If your membership carries a shipping charge, you will be billed $3 at the same time that you are billed for your membership.

    We ship via ground (5-10 business days) anywhere within the United States (including Alaska, Hawaii, and APO addresses)! If you would like to expedite any BabbaBox shipments, please call us and we can provide options for an additional shipping fee.

    I think my shipment is lost in the mail! What do I do?

    How do I know that my information is secure on BabbaCo.com? 

    Being BabbaMamas ourselves, safety is our first priority! Shopping online with BabbaCo.com is completely safe. We use Verisign SSL encryption which secures your private information. Information exchanged with any web address beginning with "https" is encrypted using SSL technology before it is transmitted over the Internet.

    What countries does BabbaCo currently ship to (besides the United States)? 

    BabbaCo currently ships within the United States and to APO addresses abroad.

    Is there any sales tax for shipments? 

    State tax regulations require that BabbaCo collects 9.25% sales tax on orders being shipped and handled in Illinois and 6.25% sales tax on orders being shipped and handled in Massachusetts. All sales tax collected is paid to the state of Illinois and Massachusetts as applicable (where the merchandise has been shipped). Note, gift card purchases do not include sales tax. If your gift recipient redeems their gift for shipment in Illinois or Massachusetts, they will be charged the required IL or MA sales tax at the time of their gift redemption.
