You can encourage your children to wash their hands by showing them how to make snow soap! We all know how important it is for kids to wash their hands, but actually convincing them to scrub those hands with soap always takes time and practice. As early as possible, get your child into the habit of washing her hands often and thoroughly. It’s especially important during cold and flu season to have them wash their hands in order to help keep from getting sick and spreading germs. The basic rules you want your children to follow are to wash hands before preparing or eating food, after coughing, sneezing, blowing your nose and after using the bathroom.
