What's the one thing every kid loves to do when it snows? Yup, that's right! They love making snowmen! You can make your own snowmen while staying warm, dry, and even without real snow by using puffy paint. It's the perfect indoor craft!
We are huge fans of puffy paint in my house and my favorite part is that everything in this craft can be found in my home. Not only were Kayla and Grant highly amused by creating this snowman they even loved feeling it when it dried and seeing how soft it became. I mean, to be honest, I even loved seeing how soft he turned out.
If you're stuck inside during this winter and need something to do with your kids, make some snowmen!
Step 1.) Lay out your construction paper.
Step 2.) Mix equal parts of glue and shaving cream making puffy paint.
Step 3.) Paint a snowman on your construction paper.
Step 4.) Put the pipe cleaners into the mix in order to add arms.
Step 5.) Cut a piece of ribbon to add a scarf.
Step 6.) Cut out a hat, nose, buttons from construction paper. Lay on top of the puffy paint.
Step 7.) Let dry for two hours and Ta-da! You have a festive snowman for this very cold day.
