Brandon just got weighed in like a true boxing champ - 19 lbs! What?! When did that happen? Sometimes I forget how small Brandon was only 7 months ago when he was a few weeks old. I was looking through pictures and saw the ones my awesome friend, Amy, took of him. (I'm so blessed that she's also an amazing photographer.)
Photos are amazing. And when they are babies, it's super cute to put on fun little hats or outfits. This is the age where they can't protest - so I LOVE taking advantage of that. hehe
Introducing Brandon and his Sesame Street personas.
This is his Oscar the Grouch yawn:
Then, when he gets the munchies, he gets in his Cookie Monster mood. *nom nom nom Something has to go with all his milk, right?
When he's happy, he's in his lah-lah-lalah Elmo's World.
(He fell asleep on the job here... so cute)
I snap tons of pictures every single day. I used to try to capture such photogenic moments and make them pose for me in a perfected outfit. But, after having three kids, I realized that the most precious pictures are the ones that capture the reality of our crazed life. Grant is always sweating, Kayla is always joking around, and Brandon is always going along for the ride. Kids grow up so fast. The 6-pound baby will soon be a 6ft man lifting me up. Life is precious. And life is made up of many moments. Make each moment count.
